日本から薬を持ってきたので、特にGPなどには行かなかったのだが、喉が弱いので、寒くなる冬に向けてお茶を常備してうがいをかかさないようにしようと思う。
何が辛いかというと、熱があると英語で会話する意欲が大幅にそがれるし、喉が痛いとはっきり発音するのに大変苦労してしまうことだ。熱と咳がひどかった一週間は、人と話す気にもなれず、随分無駄な時間を過ごしてしまった気もする。ただ、上述の通りしっかり対策をとることを決意したので、今後風邪を引かなければ、今回の件は必要だったと納得できる、だろうか。
あっという間に留学も二ヶ月を迎える。全体の五分の一くらいは消化しているので、九ヶ月の留学は短いものかもしれない。ただ、今のペースで勉強を続けていれば、成果としてはそれなりに充実したものが手に入るような気もするので、そこまで焦っていない。
特に会話能力とかが進化したりした訳ではないのだが、できない人はどうやってもできないんでしょうかね（棒 そこらへんにも気をつけたいと思います。
来週はリーディングウィークと言って授業が無い代わりに，週明けにレポートの〆切が待っています。翌々週は出かける予定が増えるので、明日から関係ない本を読むのをやめて、しっかり授業の予習と復習に時間を費やしたいと思います。
